Now that the year is 4+ months old, it’s a good time to evaluate where you are on reaching your goals.
So, how are you doing? Are you making steady progress towards them? Have you written them down and bench marked your progress up to now?
Or, perhaps you’ve already achieved some of them. If so, have you set new goals to help you reach even higher?
Having good goals can serve as the guide posts that keep you on track and help you stay motivated. So, if you’ve fallen off the ‘goal setting’ wagon, resolve now to get right back on and you’ll reap the rewards at the end of the year.
I’ve been saying for quite some time that it’s vitally important to work to develop a relationship with your customers. However, I’ve also heard comments from successful business owners that they’ve actually think it’s a bad idea to get ‘too close’ to your customers. Their reasoning is that it can cause your customers to expect too many ‘favors’ or that it makes it difficult to maintain a vendor/customer relationship.
What’s your take on this subject?
Okay, if you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, I decided to take the past 2 weeks off from writing and posting to my blog. As a result, I’ve been a little M-I-A. However, even though it was nice to take some time off from all the writing I normally do, I miss it and am happy to report that I’m back in full force.
You can once again expect to see at least post a day related to marketing your business or some other interesting tidbit of info I decide to share.
Also, you can expect to hear more about some of the programs I already offer plus some new ones I have in the works. It really is pretty exciting stuff when it comes to marketing your lawn care or landscaping business, so be on the look out for it!
