Dramatically Improve The Results of Your Mailings

I have just a couple of quick thoughts to share with you today.

First, as you’re kicking off your Spring marketing efforts, one thing you may want to give some thought to is doing an endorsed mailing. An endorsed mailing is basically a letter sent by a ‘center of influence’ to a list of prospects.

For example, if you’re trying to tap into a specific neighborhood, you would a customer that lives within that neighborhood send a letter on your behalf to all their friends and neighbors endorsing your services.

Or, you could have your accountant send a letter to all of his clients that are business owners that have large properties needing lawn care service. This letter would basically be a testimonial and referral all in one.

There’s something extremely powerful about doing these endorsed mailings. Basically, because the letter comes from someone the prospect already recognizes, there’s a high chance it will get opened and read. Also, because your endorser is the one talking about how great your service is, your prospect will have a much easier time believing what’s said.

The basic goal of this type of mailing would be to just introduce you and your service to a list of potential prospects, not sell any services. After the endorsed letter’s been sent, the door is wide open for you to follow up with your own sales letter presenting a strong offer, or to call them and present your sales message.

So if you’re tired of wasting money on ineffective sales letters, try an endorsed mailing next time and see if the results don’t dwarf anything you’ve done previously.

Okay, the second thing I wanted to share with you was to let you know I’ll be releasing a brand new program on Tuesday of next week. As you may be aware, I recently completed a 6 week program where I helped a group of business owners put together a marketing plan for this year.

For this small group of people, the process is still ongoing as I’m still working with them to be sure 2007 is a banner year. I’ll be following up with them all year long and I’m excited to see the results we generate from all their marketing efforts.

Now, even though you may not have been able to join this group, that doesn’t mean you completely missed the boat. On Tuesday I’ll be releasing a new program that is a valuable byproduct of the 6 week program I just completed. This new program will give you a very detailed, step-by-step plan to follow for creating a system for dominating your target market within a 28 day period.

As much as I’d like to give you more information now, I can’t because I’m still trying up a few loose ends. However, on Tuesday you’ll get all the details so and as I typically do with all my programs, I’ll be offering a significant discount to the early movers, so be sure to watch your email on Tuesday.
