Make 2007 The Year You….
As we sit here at the start of a new year, many people go through the process of analyzing the past year and the current situation, as well as setting goals for the coming year. It’s a practice I go through myself. It can be a pretty detailed and complex process some years, but no matter the effort I put into it, it’s something I try to do.
Now, even though I highly recommend you write out a list of goals you’d like to accomplish this year, I wanted to encourage you to decide on at least one high value activity you’d like to accomplish this year and then set out to make it happen. If you’ve tried to set and accomplish goals before but find yourself getting side-tracked (it’s easy to do!), then pick just one goal to focus on.
After you’ve selected your goal, it could be personal, professional, health related, or even financial, focus all your attention and energy on making it happen. Write out the goal and post it somewhere you’ll see it frequently. As you begin each day, resolve to do at least one thing that will bring you closer to the goal.
If you’ll do this, you’ll be amazed at how quickly and easily that one goal comes about.
