Does Your Lawn Care Business Have Systems?
If you read my message yesterday, you probably noticed it had some ‘ugliness’ to it. First, instead of displaying your name you probably saw something like “<$firstname$>”.
Next, instead of showing the subject line I created, it displayed something like “Message created on ….”
Well, since I was caught red handed I guess I pull back the curtain on my ‘Wizard of Oz’. While I’d love to write you individually, I have an email list of over 1,500 other LCO’s that have contacted me about what they can do to market their business better. With as often as I send emails, writing 1,500+ emails would require more than a full-time effort. I love my work, but not that much!
So, to help me manage everything I use a service called 1shoppingcart.com that allows me to send out one email that reaches every person on my list. It also has some nice features that allow me to personalize each message so it looks like I’m writing to you individually.
Well, occasionally things go a little screwy, as happened yesterday which is why you saw all the ‘ugliness’ that resulted. Having worked with technology now for a number of years, I’ve come to expect mishaps like this to happen occasionally, so I hope you’ll over look the error.
In spite of yesterday’s ‘glitch’, there is a lesson in it all for you.
One of the things I hope you get out of today’s message is the fact that I’ve set up a system for managing a huge list of contacts and prospects. This system allows me to continually market my products and services with minimal effort. In fact, there’s no possible way I could do it all without such a system.
Do you have systems set up for your business? Are you taking advantage of all the technological advancements that allow you to quickly set up multiple systems? Some examples of such tools include the internet, email, voice mail, voice broadcast, automated mailing services, etc.
If you’d like to make 2007 a banner year for you and your business, then it’s more than worth it to invest in taking advantage of these tools and set up systems for your business.
In fact, if you’ll watch your inbox over the next few days, I’ll be sharing with you about an opportunity I’ll be offering a limited number of business owners to have me work on their business personally. All for a fraction of the fees I normally charge.
If you don’t want to wait until later this week to learn more, you can send me an email and I’ll get back to you with a sneak peek of the details. Otherwise, stay tuned!
