Do You Know The Most Important Part of Your Sales Letters?
So, do you know what the most important aspect of any sales letter or marketing piece you send to your prospects and customers is? There are many possibilities and to be perfectly honest, you could probably list a half dozen and not be far from the right answer.
But, the absolutely most important part of your sales letter or ad is actually getting your message read. If you don’t give your prospect or customer a good reason to read your message, everything else you do doesn’t matter one bit. With a sales letter, postcard, flyer, or door hanger the first thing your target is going to see is usually the headline.
As such, you should put a great deal of thought and effort into creating a powerful, benefit laden statement that draws them into the rest of your message. In fact, many of the great direct response marketing experts spend over half the time the spend working on a project trying to get the headline just right.
If you’ll put a similar effort into your marketing efforts, I guarantee you’ll see a pretty sizeable increase in the results you get.
