Your Goose Laying the Golden Eggs

Did you know you have a goose laying golden eggs? That’s right my friend. If you own a lawn care or landscaping business, heck any business for that matter, you are in possession of one of the worlds most rarest species: a golden egg laying goose.

Don’t worry if you have no idea what I’m talking about though. You’re not alone. A large majority of business owners really don’t realize the valuable asset they currently have in their possession.

Want to know what it is? Believe it or not, it’s your existing customer base. That’s right! Your existing customers are the most precious commodity any business owner could ever hope to achieve. I know they probably cause lots of headaches and other hassles, but they’re also the ones lining your pocket at the end of the day. The process of acquiring these valuable customers can be lengthy, tiresome, and down right expense but at the end of the day it’s worth it.

As a matter of fact, once you have these customers you should do everything you possibly can to make sure they feel appreciated, are constantly presented with new offers to buy services from you, and ultimately have no need to look elsewhere for the particular type of service you provide.

Do you have a customer appreciation system in place? Do you have a systematic way of constantly presenting new and valuable offers to them? If not, you’re not properly caring for you golden egg laying goose!
